COVID-19 Announcement

To Our Valued Customers,

We at North American Stainless prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees, and we recognize the important role of supporting the needs of our customers and vendors. During this time of uncertainty related to the Covid-19, North American Stainless (NAS) is taking all steps necessary to promote the health of employees as well as prevention measures that support the vital operations to which our customers and vendors rely.
As of the delivery of this message, we are not aware of any employee or family member at NAS who has contracted Covid-19, nor are we aware of any customer, vendor, or visitor to any NAS property who has contracted Covid-19.
In order to mitigate risk of spread, all business travel has been temporarily suspended in favor of phone and video conference communications. Visits to NAS properties are limited to only reasons vital to business activities, for which those visitors are required to complete a health questionnaire prior to entering the facility. Extra measures have also been added to increase the sanitation of the work-place as well as increase employee access to hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies.
We are in daily communication with our vendor base to ensure continuous supply of inputs to our operation necessary to maintain uninterrupted production. We have realized no interruptions nor have our vendor base signaled any doubts of their ability to meet our demands into the future. As such, we are happy to report not having any supply interruptions and being able to successfully meet the demands of our customers without interruption.
Finally, contingency plans are being created in the event a member of our staff contracts the Covid-19 virus, with swift actions in order to support the needs of that employee. This will include reviewing the best interest of employees who engaged with that individual, as well as adjustments necessary to cover shifts of personnel required to quarantine in order to maintain production expectations from customers.
