NAS was invited by the Materials Science and Engineering Club of Ohio State University to give on February 21st, a presentation to the students regarding North American Stainless (NAS) and Stainless Steel. The presentation was attended by Junior and Senior class students from the fields of engineering and metallurgy.
The presentation given by NAS was divided into three major areas:
- Description of the company and stainless market
- Technical section related to stainless steel
- Applications of stainless steel in different sectors of industry.
The students showed a lot of interest in the material presented and asked a number of well-informed questions. NAS was invited to make the presentation a recurring annual event.
